YEAH! I have been waiting all week for this to begin. Just like a homeschooler to get all excited about a book list. LOL!
I have many books needing read. Well, maybe they don't need to be read, but I want to read them. I have been re-reading the HP series to refresh myself for the upcoming last book. I really enjoy a good fiction story, and often will pick up books at yard sales, thrift stores, and the library, but then they just pile up until I inspired to read them. Self help and inspirational books often make it to my bookshelf, and then sit. I have found few writers that can motivate me to read through to the last page, so we'll see how that goes. I do enjoy a well written biography, though. I am also including books I need to finish the school year. A separate section will be dedicated to books we are or will be reading aloud with the family. Happy Reading everyone!

Wow, I'm first! I loved your list, and you made me really miss the reading aloud days when my kids were younger. I recently finished Eldest, and can't wait for the third Paolini to appear. If the first two are any indication, this one should be amazing! Enjoy getting lost in the pages, and reading aloud with the kids!

I forgot to get my reading list up today! Pooh! I better work on that later!
We enjoyed Bridge to Terabithia when we read it last year. I've seen the movie previews and think they've taken a few too many creative liberties - it sure doesn't look like the book we read!
The Out of Sync Child is great, you should also check out The Out of Sync Child Has Fun, lots of great ideas.
Enjoyed checking out your reading list! I enjoyed Goodnight Nobody, hope you do as well! I miss those family read alouds! I have books saved for the future grandkids!
Your list looks wonderful! Christopher Paolini's novels are so enjoyable!
Better get going on those Harry Potter books! I'm jealous that you still have them to read!
I need to get my list up to! I can't believe it's spring already.
Riddle to Amish Culture and Audrey Hepburn have caught my eye off your list! Happy Reading!
Wow, that's a long list! Some of the ones for the family read-alouds look particularly interesting to me.
Wow! I LOVED your lists!! I think I've read all your fiction TBR and thoroughly enjoyed each of them!!
What I really like is your Famliy Read Alouds! What a great idea! My son is 10 and I actually think he would enjoy it, although he reads most to himself. My daughters are a little young though. Bridge to Terabithia is AWESOME!
The Out of Synch Child, Carol Kranowitz is an awesome book. Happy Reading
Love your list. Oh how I wish I would've known about the Audrey Hepburn Biography. It's definitely going in my Fall reading list! I can't wait to see your reviews on these books. Good luck with your list & have fun reading! =)
I notice a definite trend to fantasy on your list, too. I think the Read Alouds are such a great idea!
Looks like a really really nice list. I loved your intro to the list, as well.
The Audrey Hepburn looks good.
Your read-alouds look fantastic. How are you liking Eragon?

Thanks for visiting my blog! Wow...you have a lot of books on your list!!!! They look great. I almost didn't do this challenge because I have so many challenges and book groups I'm reading for - BUT, I just couldn't resist one more *laughs*

I glanced at the Hepburn book in the bookshop, I think I will get it next, look forward to your thoughts on it!
Oh, I LOVE your list! I want to read nearly everything on it! My daughter's read a lot of those...and they're sitting in on her bookshelves just ripe for the picking. Someday. (I did read Coraline--my daughter was afraid it would be too scary so she wanted me to read it first.)
Good luck! And happy spring!
What a great list! I feel behind because I have not read any of the Harry Potter books. I am waiting until my son is a little older so we can read them together. Enjoy your books!
What a good list and lots! some I have read and some I will have to check out!!! Happy reading!
Angels and Demons is an excellent read. Better than The DaVinci Code, I think. But then, I love all of Dan Brown's books.
I'm looking foward to hearing what you think of the Audrey Hepburn biography. I love to read biographies as well, in fact, I finished one on Queen Noor of Jordan just a little while back.
Happy reading!
